Tandemeer is a Nautical Development 56 Ketch (60’ LOA), built in Florida in 1980. Originally named Anenome, Tandemeer was featured at the end of the 1981 hit movie, Trading Places, with Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Tandemeer was purchased and refitted by her current owner and captain Sequoia Sun in 2017. She is the ideal boat for sailing the Virgin Islands in Winter and coastal New England in Summer, with lots of open deck space, a large comfortable cockpit with seating for 10 or more. Below deck is a large Main Salon plus four double staterooms, each of the four cabins has private en-suite toilet sink and shower. Comfortable accommodations for six guests plus crew, or up to 12 total if everyone is very friendly.
